Three days, 17 schools, five subject slots. SEMASHUR opened its doors to SPM candidates from across Hulu Selangor — from day-one ice breakers to a closing ceremony officiated by the head of Yayasan MBI.

For three days, 21 to 23 August 2026, Sekolah Menengah Sains Hulu Selangor hosted the Sinergi Madani SPM Programme for the Hulu Selangor district. Organised by the Malaysian Principals Council, Hulu Selangor Branch, with the District Education Office and the district's Counselling Teachers Council, it brought together students from 17 schools. 📚
Day one opened with registration, a briefing from the head commandant and wardens, and an ice-breaking session. Experienced teachers then led five subject slots — Malay, English, Mathematics, Science and Additional Mathematics — each focused on SPM answering technique.
Three motivation slots ran through the programme to lift morale and help students prepare as well as they can for SPM.
The highlight was the closing ceremony, officiated by Encik Ahmad Azri bin Zainal Nor A.M.S., head of Yayasan MBI. Certificates went to every participant and committee member, prizes to the best groups, and the ceremony was brightened by a solo song and a dance by the Warisan Gemalai troupe from SMK Bandar Baru Batang Kali.
