Eco-Absorb™ Takes Bronze at Science Castle Asia 2026
From Kota Samarahan to the Asian stage. Four students took Eco-Absorb™ up against innovation teams from across the region — and came home with bronze.

🥉 SEMASHUR's innovation team, Eco-Absorb™, won a Bronze Award at Science Castle Asia 2026, held on 22–23 August at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Nilai.
The road to Asia began at Science Castle Malaysia 2026 at UiTM Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, where Eco-Absorb™ won the Gold Award and the Best Poster Award, finished in the Top 8 innovation teams, and qualified for the Asian round.
Four students from Forms 1, 2 and 3 made up the team, coached by Puan Lisneza binti Roseli and Encik Wan Mohamed Syazwan bin Wan Mohamed Hanif. Competing against innovation teams from many countries was a genuinely formative experience — and it carried SEMASHUR's name onto an international stage.
