SEMASHUR
Form 1 Algebra Explorace
Algebra, on the run. Twenty-seven groups of Form 1 students hunted variables, cracked simultaneous-equation codes and took on the Poison Balloon Factorisation challenge across five stations.
Main Overview
Who says algebra is boring? 🧮 On the afternoon of 20 August 2026, Form 1 students split into 27 groups for the Algebra Explorace, organised by the Mathematics Panel.
Each group had to clear five stations — Variable Hunt, Simultaneous Code Breakers, Like-Term Combos, Poison Balloon Factorisation and the Al-Jabbar Tile Path. Working in teams, students sharpened inquiry, problem-solving and higher-order thinking, while building communication and team spirit along the way.
The relaxed but demanding game format made algebra genuinely fun. To recognise their effort, the Senior Assistant for Co-curriculum presented prizes to the five best groups. 🏅 #SEMASHUR #SEMASHURSeindahNama #AlgebraExplorace #Mathematics #Form1
