Form 5 Team Building: Zoomazing Race – The Leadership Quest
After the last SPM trial paper, Form 5 students traded the exam hall for Zoo Negara. An Explorace, a VLOG competition, and one mission: lead your own team to the finish line.

Tuesday, 18 August 2026. After weeks of facing exam papers, SEMASHUR's Form 5 students walked out of the hall and into Zoo Negara for the Form 5 Team Building programme: Zoomazing Race – The Leadership Quest. 🦁
The aim was twofold: build team spirit and leadership skills, while giving students a mental break after the recent SPM trial examination.
Students were split into groups and handed a range of tasks through a challenging and enjoyable Explorace. Each group had to complete assignments at several locations across Zoo Negara — calling for communication, planning, problem-solving, delegation and collective decision-making.
Alongside the Explorace, students entered a VLOG competition. Each group produced a VLOG capturing their journey, experiences and involvement throughout the programme — a chance to showcase creativity, communication and digital technology skills.
Once the activities wrapped up, the group moved to Masjid Ar-Ridhwan for congregational Zohor prayers, then on to Restaurant Serasa Garden for a buffet lunch. The relaxed setting gave students and teachers room to interact in a warmer, easier register.
The day continued with prize presentations for the Explorace and the VLOG competition. Overall, the programme delivered a meaningful experience for the Form 5 cohort.
