SEMASHUR Shines at Pi-ENVEX 2026 with Double Gold and WIIPA Honours
Four Gold, three Silver, two Bronze — and a Double Gold for Sign-to-Speech. SEMASHUR's inventors came home from UniMAP with arms full of trophies after three intense days at Pi-ENVEX 2026.

What a run at UniMAP! 🏆 SEMASHUR sent a strong contingent to the Perlis International Engineering Invention and Innovation Exhibition (Pi-ENVEX) 2026, held from 14 to 16 May 2026 at Universiti Malaysia Perlis. The three-day exhibition gathered young inventors from Malaysia and abroad to showcase engineering-driven solutions to real-world problems.
Leading the charge was S2S (Sign-to-Speech), which captured a Double Gold in the main judging round together with the Budaya Positif Green Award — reinforcing its potential as an inclusive communication tool for the deaf community. 🌟 BIOFLEX PANEL added further prestige with a Gold medal alongside the WIIPA Special Award from the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations.
All told, SEMASHUR collected four Gold medals through ARODIHUE, ACADEMIA BALANCE, BIOFLEX PANEL and THINKSPIRE, followed by three Silver medals for ECO-ABSORB, YAMMI-SEAL and DURAGUARD, and two Bronze medals for SOL-CASE and SEWOOSH. 🥇🥈🥉 Contribution Awards were also presented to ECO-ABSORB, THINKSPIRE and YAMMI-SEAL for their impact-driven concepts.
