Sixty-four squares, two days of quiet warfare. SEMASHUR's chess team stepped up against Hulu Selangor's sharpest young minds at the 2026 MSSD Chess Championship.

On 13 and 14 April 2026, SEMASHUR's chess team took to the board at the 2026 Hulu Selangor District Schools Sports Council (MSSD) Chess Championship, hosted at SMK Taman Bunga Raya 1. The tournament brought together the district's top young chess players in a race for places in the district squad.
Competing in the under-15 (P15) category, SEMASHUR's representatives showed composure and sharp strategic play across the two days of competition. One player closed out the tournament in 7th place, while another secured 10th place in the same category.
