On Friday morning, 7 August 2026, Form 3 Muslim students gathered at Surau Asy-Syakirin for a funeral rites course with Ust Mohd Rashidi bin Khairuddin, organised by the Islamic Education Panel and BADAR.
The course let students put classroom theory into practice. They were taught how to properly wash, shroud, pray over and bury the deceased — working in groups, which built cooperation throughout.
