84 SEMASHUR students joined the 2026 Kangaroo Maths Competition — the world's largest maths contest that draws over 6 million students from 115 countries every year.

SEMASHUR maths minds put to the test! 📚 On 22 April 2026, 84 of our students took part in the Kangaroo Maths Competition (KMC), held right here at SM Sains Hulu Selangor.
The line-up was split across three categories — 33 students in Cadet, 33 in Junior, and 18 representing Senior. Each level tackled questions calibrated to their stage of study, giving everyone a fair shot at their best performance.
KMC is no ordinary contest. It draws over 6 million students from 115 countries every year, with questions famous for being creative and challenging — pushing students to think well beyond the standard classroom syllabus.
