On 8 April 2026, SMK Serendah hosted the Hulu Selangor District Al-Quran and Khat Mahrajan 2026, gathering schools across the district for Tilawah, Hafazan and Khat competitions.
SEMASHUR fielded three students, and each returned with a top placing. Muhammad Iman Zaidaan bin Mohd Zawawi (4 Jujur) was named runner-up in Tilawah, while Ahmad Faid Iskandar bin Muhammad Fikrie Chin (5 Iman) took fourth place in Hafazan.
In the Khat category, Sheikh Muhammad Aaron bin Rizal (2 Ehsan) added another fourth-place finish — rounding out a strong showing for the school. The results reflect steady training and close mentoring from the teachers throughout preparation.
