Teachers upskilling too! On Monday, 15 June 2026, ten lower-secondary teachers gathered at the SEMASHUR Meeting Room from 2:30 to 4:30 pm for the Workshop on Building an AI-Powered Item Analysis Platform.
The session opened with the fundamentals — reading student score trends through pivot tables in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Participants then moved on to crafting precise prompts for Root Cause Analysis using the Fishbone Diagram, sharpening their ability to pinpoint what really lies behind weak assessment items. 📚
The core segment brought everyone straight into Claude AI. By feeding in sample item analysis templates and assessment papers, each teacher walked away with a complete, subject-specific item analysis platform tailored to their own classroom needs.
